The development, production and quality control of bi-component parts on industrial scale represents one of the many strengths of RO-RA TECH.
These bi-component parts are made partially of a soft component (rubber), the base material, coupled with a hard component such as rubber of another physical and mechanical properties, plastic, fabric or metal.
The advantage of bi-component parts are the following: they have enhanced properties and, thus, enhanced performance; it allows the development of parts with complex layouts, a reduced dimension and a reduced weight.
These materials are matched through a single synchronic process. Even without a pre-treatment, an excellent match can be achieved between different thermoplastic materials by means of a chemical connection.

For components used in the luxury or high-end consumer goods, we have the capacity to mould details with Silicon and NBR, or other materials that are resistant to ozone, which keeps colour from fading and is good for wear resistance.

Membranes and Diaphragms are made of rubber used for separating gas or liquid compartments. Their flexibility allows for temporal deformation and the return to their original shape.
